Impersonal passive
This is a simple and natural construction in German, but can’t be translated literally into English:

“Hier werden Filme gesehen”: Movies are being watched here / People watch/are watching movies here.
See p. 454 for more examples

Remember that in order to form the passive in different tenses, you just need to use the different tenses of “werden,” which you already know – or else should now urgently review!
Repeat narrative and conversational past forms in the charts pp. 451 & 452
Note in the summary table on p. 452 how in all tenses of the passive, the past participle of the verb (“angerufen” in this case) must always be used!
Who called? (i.e. in the “angerufen” charts on pp. 451-2): the point is that we don’t know, and that one of the main uses of the passive is to describe what happened when we don’t know or don’t want to say who did it.
